Where did Venito start?
It started in Milan. That is where our family discovered Italian leather craftsmanship, and with it a standard for how a leather piece should be made, from the choice of hide to the last stitch. Leatherwork began as a hobby for us.
Over time the hobby became a family company, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Many of our product names, such as Florence, Ravenna, Capri and Tuscany, are Italian place names, a nod to where the story began. The products themselves are designed for the phones, watches and daily routines our customers have now.
What leather does Venito use?
We use full-grain cowhide in all our products. Full-grain is the top layer of the hide with its natural grain left intact, which makes it the strongest grade and the one that develops a patina as you use it. Our leather comes from tanneries in Italy and Turkey. Choosing full-grain means accepting its character. Every piece shows natural pores and small variations, and no two cases look exactly alike after a year of use. We think that is what leather should do.
What does "Handmade, Not Assembled" mean?
It is the line on our homepage, and it is how we describe our products: each one is handcrafted by leather artisans in local workshops.
Handwork shows in the details, such as tightly turned edges on a slim iPhone leather case, even stitching around card slots and a suede lining fitted inside each phone case. Before packing, every order is UV-sanitized and placed in a gift box.
What we make
Our range has grown from a few leather pieces into accessories for most of the devices and things people carry every day.
- Phone cases. Wallet cases, detachable 2-in-1 cases, snap-on cases and crossbody cases for iPhone, from the iPhone 18 series back to older models, plus Samsung Galaxy cases including the S26 series and foldables, and Google Pixel cases for the Pixel 10 and 9. Many include RFID-blocking card slots.
- Watch bands. Twelve styles of leather Apple Watch bands, from slim and double-wrap styles to a cuff, with buckles in Black, Gold, Rose Gold or Silver, and versions for Galaxy Watch and Fitbit.
- Wallets and card holders. Pop-up mechanical card holders, slim card holders, men's and women's wallets, travel and passport wallets in our wallets and card holders collection.
- Bags. Crossbody phone bags, messenger bags, backpacks, a weekender duffle, a briefcase and dopp kits in the leather bags collection.
- Tablet and desk. Leather wallet cases for iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini in all iPad cases, plus leather desk mats, laptop sleeves and a journal cover.
- Small accessories. AirPods and AirTag covers, cable organizers, luggage tags, belts and a leather cream for care.
