Google Pixel 9 Series
Handmade full-grain leather cases for the Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL.
Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL
The 9 was the generation where the camera bar stopped running edge to edge and became an island floating in the middle of the back. Every case on this page is cut for that shape, with a rim that clears the glass so the phone does not rest on its lenses.
The 9 Pro and the 9 Pro XL are two different sizes despite the shared name. Check which one you have before you pick a colour.
What is on the page
- Capri, a snap-on shell with card slots on the back
- Lucca, the same shell without them
- Florence-flex, a folio wallet that closes over the screen
- Ravenna, the folio whose wallet half unclips
All four are full-grain cowhide lined with suede, and the wallet models have RFID blocking behind the cards.
Full-grain, and why it is rare on a Pixel
Full-grain is the outer layer of the hide with the grain untouched. It costs more than the split layer used in most leather-look cases, and it needs a fresh pattern for every phone body, which is why almost nobody cuts it for Pixel.
The practical difference is what happens at eighteen months. Split leather wears through at the corners. Full-grain darkens and stays intact.
Cards and charging
Capri holds two or three cards on the back. Florence-flex and Ravenna take four or five inside the cover, with RFID blocking behind the slots.
Wireless charging works through the leather. Put the phone side on the pad rather than the card side.
Care
A dry cloth handles most of it. Keep the case off hot surfaces, and use a small amount of leather cream once or twice a year if the surface feels dry.
Rain will not hurt it. Repeated soaking followed by drying near a radiator will.
Before you order a Pixel 9 case
Three things are worth checking first.
- The Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL are three different sizes. Pick the exact model at the top of the product page, because a 9 Pro case will not close properly on a 9 Pro XL.
- If you are buying a wallet version, count your cards honestly. Three sit comfortably, four work, five make the case stand proud of the table.
- Screen protectors with thick raised edges can catch on a folio flap. Ours clears most of them, but a very deep tempered glass lip is the one combination that causes trouble.
Leather changes colour as you handle it. The tan shades move the most, the black barely at all. That is the material behaving normally and not a fault.
