Leather cases for the iPhone 15 line
The 15 was the generation that moved to USB-C, and the port opening on every case here is cut for that shape. Four sizes are covered: the 15, the 15 Plus, the 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max.
The Pro models use a titanium frame with slightly softer edges than the 14 Pro had. Cases made for the older generation will slip on and sit wrong, so use the model row above the grid rather than going by size alone.
What is on this page
- Snap-on cases: Lucca for a plain back, Capri when you want card slots on it
- Folio wallets: Florence for one piece, Ravenna when you want the wallet to come off
- Crossbody: Fermo, with a strap that unclips
All of them are cut from the same full-grain cowhide and lined with suede. The difference between them is how much you want to carry, not how well the phone is protected.
Cards, charging and the port
The USB-C opening is cut wide enough for a chunky third-party cable, which is the thing most cases get wrong on this generation. A slim Lightning-era cutout will not take a braided USB-C head.
Capri holds two or three cards, Florence and Ravenna take four or five. All the wallet models carry an RFID blocking layer behind the slots. Qi charging works through the leather on every design here, with the phone side against the pad.
Two years in
Most people buying for a 15 now already have the phone and are replacing a case that gave up. That is worth saying plainly: a silicone case goes shiny and stretches, a plastic one cracks at the corner, and neither gets better with age. Leather goes the other way. The corners darken first, the grain flattens where your fingers sit, and after a year the case looks like yours rather than like a product.
If the phone has another year or two of life in it, that matters more than it does on a brand new model.
Looking after it
- Wipe it with a dry cloth. Water and soap are for accidents, not routine.
- Keep it off radiators and out of a car dashboard in summer. Heat dries leather faster than anything else.
- A little leather cream once or twice a year if the surface starts to feel dry. Less than you think.
- Light scratches rub out with a thumb. Deep ones stay and become part of the patina.
Nothing on this list is urgent. A case that gets none of it still outlasts a silicone one.
