Cases for the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max and 16e
The 16 generation added the Camera Control button on the right edge, below the power button. Every case on this page leaves that strip open rather than covering it with leather, because a button you have to press through a flap is a button you stop using.
Five sizes share this page and none of them share a pattern. The 16 and the 16 Pro look close on a shelf and are not interchangeable, so pick the model row above the grid before you start comparing colours.
The five bodies on this page
- iPhone 16 and 16 Plus: two lenses set vertically, standard and large
- iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max: three lenses in a square housing, both slightly larger than the models they replaced
- iPhone 16e: its own body, closer to the standard 16 than to anything else
None of these five share a case. If you have upgraded from a 15 Pro, the old case will not fit the 16 Pro either.
Wallet case or plain case
Roughly half of what sells on this page is a wallet in some form. Capri keeps the card slots flat against the back of a snap-on shell, which is the smallest way to carry cards. Florence and Ravenna close over the screen and hold more, and Ravenna splits in two when you want the phone without the wallet.
The rest is Lucca, the snap-on with nothing on the back. Padding behind the phone, a leather surface that is easy to hold, and wireless charging that still works through it.
RFID blocking, and what it actually stops
Capri, Florence and Ravenna carry a shielding layer under the leather. It blocks the short range radio scan that contactless cards answer, so a reader held near your pocket gets nothing back. It does nothing for a card you hand to someone, and it is not a replacement for watching your statements, but it removes one way of being read without noticing.
Your phone still works normally. The shield sits between the card slots and the outside of the case, not between the phone and the charger.
Keeping it looking right
Full-grain leather wants very little. Wipe it with a dry cloth when it picks up dust, keep it off radiators, and rub in a small amount of leather cream once or twice a year if the surface starts to feel dry. Water marks usually fade on their own as the leather dries.
Scratches are part of the material. A light one will disappear under your thumb in a minute. A deeper one stays and joins the rest of the patina.
Buying it as a gift
Everything ships in a rigid box that does not need wrapping, and initials can be engraved for 18.90 dollars on the product page. Two things to get right first: the exact model, and whether the person already carries a wallet. Buying a card case for someone who has a wallet they like is the most common way this goes wrong.
Antique Brown and Rustic Black are the safest colours if you are not sure. Both suit a phone of any finish and both are available across every design on this page.
